About AIT

The Agreement on Internal Trade is an agreement between the federal, provincial, and territorial governments in order to minimize and remove, to the possible degree, barriers in order to have free movement of people, different kind of goods, services, and investments within all territory of Canada and to establish domestic market that is open, efficient, and stable.

The Internal Trade Secretariat has been managing this site which has been established regarding providing administrative and operational support for the functioning of the Agreement on Internal Trade.
